Within the walls of the great brick Bartlett-Burdette-Cox building, located near I-64, families will find three spacious visitation rooms, an impressive chapel area with seating for 150 guests, and comfortable private arrangement offices. Lovely antiques and interesting architectural elements adorn each room. The funeral home’s wide enclosed veranda and airy back entrance foyer are refreshingly simple and bring a feeling of nature and peace at a difficult time. Inside the main building, rich wood tones complemented by beautiful furnishings and wall hangings convey a feeling of calmness and security. For our younger guests, Bartlett-Burdette-Cox offers a children’s room complete with beanbag chairs and a TV/VCR. The funeral home is also equipped with an elevator so that all areas of the funeral home are accessible to those who find it difficult to use the stairs.
